Day 1


Spend the day exploring Vancouver, a city that blends a stunning setting of coastline, mountains and rainforests.
As a fantastic introduction to the adventure ahead visit Canada Place to experience FlyOver Canada, where you’ll be immersed in a multi-sensory journey over some of Canada’s most spectacular scenery. 
Depending on your planned arrival time, optional experiences can be added to today’s itinerary. Perhaps a small group excursion to visit Vancouver’s North Shore would appeal.

Day 2


In the 1970’s, Granville Island began its successful transformation from an industrial wasteland to one of the most beloved public spaces in Vancouver. Now a vibrant cultural and culinary hub, it is a fantastic example of urban renewal and environmental sustainability.
Chefs and foodies flock to the Granville Island Public Market for quality produce, bakeries, butcheries, cheese shops, and local delights!
Today’s foodie tour is the best way to enjoy an all-inclusive meal from the Public Market and Granville Island’s top food artisans. Skip the lines and indulge in over 20 signature Canadian tastings, including organic breads, local charcuterie, British Columbia cheeses, melt-in-your-mouth donuts and more! (L)

Day 3


Stanley Park is truly one of the most beautiful parks in the world, situated with scenic views of downtown Vancouver, the North Shore, The Lion’s Gate Bridge, as well as English Bay and the Westside.
This morning, join a bike tour of the park that includes a perfect mixture of both trail riding and seawall cruising. Highlights include in-depth information about the biodiversity of the temperate rainforest, the history of the coastal first nations and their legendary totem poles, as well as an abundance of hidden treasures and stories that the park has accumulated over its 125-year history.

Day 4


This morning, board the world-renowned Rocky Mountaineer to travel from Vancouver to Kamloops, in the heart of British Columbia’s interior. Highlights along the route include the rushing waters of Hell’s Gate in the Fraser Canyon and the steep slopes and rock sheds along the Thompson River. (B)(L)

Day 5


Your Rocky Mountaineer train journey continues into Alberta and the Canadian Rockies. Once again you will be surrounded by dramatic scenery as you follow the banks of the North Thompson River through the Monashee and Cariboo Mountains, climbing ever nearer to the high peaks of the Continental Divide, before arriving in Jasper. Day 6


Today is designed to showcase the best of Jasper’s great outdoors and natural beauty. 
This morning, join a guided 4km hike to a stunning peak, where you will enjoy a hands-on back-country cooking lesson. Learn to prepare your own gourmet meal in the outdoors, using environmentally friendly cooking methods. The best part? You can then enjoy a delicious meal with spectacular panoramic views! 
Later this afternoon, it’s time to go in search of some of the fauna that call Jasper National Park home, on a small group wildlife viewing excursion. Elk, deer, bear, moose and mountain goats are just a sample of the many wild animals roaming the park. (L)

Day 7

Jasper - Lake Louise

Travel down the Icefields Parkway, one of the most scenic highways in North America. Visit the Columbia Icefield for an Ice Explorer tour and visit the Glacier Skywalk.
Continue along the Icefields Parkway, with stops at Bow and Peyto Lakes, Crowfoot Glacier and Athabasca Falls before arriving in Lake Louise. Keep your camera handy, this road is renowned for sightings of bears, elk, moose and mountain sheep. (L)

Day 8

Lake Louise - Banff

Depart Lake Louise this morning on an excursion full of awe-inspiring scenery. Moraine Lake and the Valley of the Ten Peaks is one of the most iconic scenes of the Canadian Rockies. Explore Yoho National Park, Takakkaw Falls and enjoy a delicious lunch at Emerald Lake, before arriving in Banff. (L)

Day 9


Build a connection to this UNESCO World Heritage Site as you visit Banff’s landmarks, learn its history and view wildlife in their natural habitat.
Today’s locally guided small group tour will include some of the most scenic and historically significant highlights of Banff such as Bow Falls, Surprise Corner Lookout, Hoodoos Viewpoint and Lake Minnewanka. It’s a complete orientation to Banff and a great option for seeing wildlife in the morning.
Later today, visit Banff Gondola for a breathtaking ascent to the pinnacle of Sulphur Mountain where you will find panoramic views of sheer mountain majesty.

Day 10

Banff - Calgary

Depending on your departure details, you may have some to explore Banff at leisure this morning.
Then, transfer along the Trans-Canada Highway to ‘cattle ranching country’ and the breadbasket of Canada. Your journey will end in Calgary.
