Day 1

San Francisco

Explore San Francisco, where highlights include Alcatraz, Golden Gate Park, Fisherman’s Wharf and Chinatown.

Day 3

San Francisco - Lake Tahoe

Continue to Sacramento, the capital city of California. The afternoon will find you at beautiful Lake Tahoe, consistently voted as one of the most beautiful places in the US.

Day 4

Lake Tahoe - Elko

Stop in Lovelock and enjoy a unique visit to Lovers Lock Plaza, where more than a thousand locks symbolise true love. Just before Elko, visit the new California Trails Center, which presents the history of the Gold Rush.

Day 5

Elko - Twin Falls

Experience the sights and sounds of the Western Folklife Center and learn more about Cowboy poetry and songs in historic downtown Elko. Twin Falls is near the site where Evel Knievel attempted to jump across the Snake River Canyon in 1974 with a rocket-powered motorcycle.

Day 6

Twin Falls - West Yellowstone

Continue to Craters of the Moon National Monument. Tonight’s destination is West Yellowstone, Montana’s gateway to Yellowstone National Park.

Day 7

West Yellowstone - Yellowstone National Park

Drive into Yellowstone National Park to explore the geysers, caldrons, paint pots and lakes. Yellowstone, the first US National Park is known for its wildlife and geothermal features, especially Old Faithful Geyser.

Day 8

Yellowstone National Park - Jackson

Discover more of Yellowstone’s many wonders before continuing on to Grand Teton National Park, an ethereal mountain landscape where jagged peaks tower above the Jackson Hole valley.

Day 9

Jackson - Salt Lake City

Travelling along Bear Lake and through the Rocky Mountain range you'll reach the host city of the 2002 Winter Olympic Games. Salt Lake City is nestled in a valley at the foot of two mountain ranges.

Day 10

Salt Lake City - Bryce Canyon National Park

Head to spectacular Bryce Canyon National Park, created by a series of horseshoe-shaped amphitheatres in southern Utah. Experiencing a sunset or sunrise at the canyon’s edge is a must-do.

Day 11

Bryce Canyon National Park - Mesquite

Entering Zion National Park you'll experience how outstanding works of man and nature compete for attention along this route. The road was considered an almost impossible project, an engineering marvel of its time.

Day 12

Mesquite - Boulder City

Enter Valley of Fire State Park to enjoy the stunning red rock formations and dramatic scenery with stops at Elephant Rock, Mouse’s Tank and Rainbow Vista. Learn of the monumental achievement of damming the Colorado River at the Hoover Dam.

Day 13

Boulder City - Las Vegas

Experience the most exciting city on earth. Enjoy the canals of The Venetian, the fountains of the Bellagio and the views of Las Vegas from The Stratosphere.

Las Vegas
