Day 1

Las Vegas

The city that glitters 24 hours a day needs no introduction.

Day 2

Las Vegas - Beatty

Visit Death Valley National Park, home to the lowest point in the Western Hemisphere, before continuing to the western town of Lone Pine at the foot of Mount Whitney.

Day 3

Beatty - Tonopah

The community of Tonopah began when a prospector picked up a rock to throw at his burro, but noticed the rock was unusually heavy. He had stumbled upon the second richest silver strike in Nevada history.

Day 4

Tonopah - Yosemite

Enter Yosemite National Park where the road system will take you to fabulous viewpoints.

Day 5

Yosemite - Lake Tahoe

Travel through California gold rush country and on to Sacramento. Continue on to Lake Tahoe, the largest alpine lake in North America.

Day 6

Lake Tahoe - Reno

Take a scenic drive around the lake to fully appreciate its beauty. You'll end up in Incline Village from where a little mountain driving takes you to Reno.

Day 7

Reno - Eureka

Head out along the Pony Express Trail - travelling across ‘The Loneliest Road in America’.

Day 8

Eureka - Ely

A scenic drive brings you to the town of Ely, where you can view the many murals that depict the history of the town.

Day 9

Drive to Great Basin National Park, notable for its groves of ancient bristlecone pines.

Day 10

Ely - Bryce Canyon

Head to spectacular Bryce Canyon National Park, where erosion has shaped colourful Claron limestones, sandstones and mudstones into thousands of spires, fins, pinnacles and mazes.

Day 11

Bryce Canyon - Las Vegas

In Zion National Park, rocks coloured in white and pastels of orange and red have been eroded into hundreds of fantastic shapes, etched through time with odd patterns of cracks and grooves. Travelling through the beautiful Virgin River Gorge takes you back into the Nevada Desert - and back to civilisation!
