Upon arrival you will be met and transferred by road to the city of Nauta. Board your chosen vessel and journey into the heart of Amazonia. (L)(D)
Dawn and dusk are ideal times for nature observation. After breakfast, board skiffs where you will have the chance to spot amazing wildlife including parrots, macaws and monkeys. This afternoon head deeper into the Pacaya Samiria Reserve for an unforgettable encounter with grey and pink river dolphins. (B)(L)(D)
The Fundo Casual jungle trail will take you deep into the rainforest where your guide will point out the dynamic creatures and vegetation of the Amazon. Along the way, stop at the village of San Francisco to meet locals and learn about the culture, traditions and folklore. Visit a market featuring amazing arts and crafts from the local women. Continue to Iquitos, en route visit the Rescue & Rehabilitation Center of River Mammals to learn about manatees and other threatened species. (B)(L)
