This tour visits three very different wildlife havens, from the lush Himalayan foothills to the arid ranges of Rajasthan - each home to very different wildlife. Chambal Safari lodge is committed to protecting the pristine environment in the Chambal Valley. Through their Chambal Conservation Foundation they work to preserve the natural and cultural heritage of the area in efforts focused on foreforestation & habitat regeneration, conservation, research, education and more. This morning drive to Corbett National Park, at the base of the Himalayas. (L)(D)
Day 2
Enjoy morning and evening safaris. Tiger and leopard are both here and elephants are seasonal visitors. Corbett is India’s oldest national park. (B)(L)(D)

Day 4
Drive to Delhi and overnight there. (B)
Day 5
Drive southeast to the Chambal River and our wildlife lodge in a quiet rural setting. Take a boat along the Chambal in search of skimmers and the endangered gharial crocodile, and visit the riverside temples of Bateshwar. (B,L,D)

Day 7
Visit the Agra Fort, and experience the Taj Mahal at sunrise. Also visit the Wildlife SOS elephant rescue centre. (B)
