Travel by boat, 4WD and foot into Sierra de La Macarena National Park again today, but this time you will visit the lower basin of Caño Cristales. Where this majestic river enters the jungle, the lower basin has an intense green colour because of the shadow of the forest on the Macarenia clavigera plant.
