Day 1


Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure to explore Bogota, a vibrant high-altitude capital renowned for its colonial architecture, cobbled La Candelaria streets, pre-Colombian gold art, magnificent colonial churches, and impressive museums.

Day 2


This morning, enjoy a city sightseeing adventure. Explore the Gold Museum, where a Coffee Baptism ritual awaits, heightening your tasting acumen. Continue at the Botero Museum, a treasure trove of artistry. Then, ascend Monserrate Hill aboard a cable car, ascending to 3,100 meters above sea level. Gaze upon breathtaking city vistas, a panorama encompassing Bogota's rich history and vibrant present. Later, dive into the heart of Bogota's downtown as you traverse the lanes of the La Candelaria Historic District.

Colombia offers a diverse culinary experience and you will have the chance to savour 8 unique dishes from different regions like the Amazon, Andes, Caribbean, Pacific, and Orinoquia. Day 3

Bogota - Villa de Leyva

This morning you will journey across the Bogota plateau and through residential quarters, reaching Zipaquira, a quaint town 30km from Bogota. Delve into the mesmerizing Salt Cathedral, accessed via the expansive tunnel of the Salt Mine. Altars and the Station of the Cross are meticulously carved into salt rock, fashioned within caverns and tunnels shaped by miners.
Explore the heart of this colossal salt mine, uncovering its distinctive architecture. Following the visit, venture to the charming colonial haven of Villa de Leyva for an overnight stay. As evening falls, enjoy dinner at a local restaurant, embracing the warmth of the surroundings.  (B)(D)

Day 4

Villa de Leyva - Armenia - Salento

Enjoy a morning walking excursion through Villa de Leyva, a town adorned with architectural echoes of its colonial heritage. Whitewashed buildings, cobblestone streets, and the expansive Plaza Mayor evoke its past charm. Uncover key landmarks such as the Santo Ecce Monastery, the Fossil Museum, Pozos Azules, and El Infiernito. Later, journey back to Bogota for your flight to Armenia in Colombia's coffee region. Upon arrival, transfer to your Salento hotel for a memorable stay. (B)

Day 5

Salento - Cocora Valley - Salento

Discover Salento, a vibrant coffee town showcasing quintessential "Paisa" architecture. The colonial houses, adorned with vivid colors, flower-filled balconies, and hospitable locals, create an inviting ambiance. Embark on a hike in Cocora Valley, home to extraordinary Wax Palm Trees, towering up to 70 meters—the world's tallest palms. Immerse yourself in this captivating landscape during your 2-hour hike. Afterward, relish a delightful lunch and engage in traditional games like "Tejo" or "Rana," accompanied by Colombian beer, for a lively end to your day. (B)(L)

Day 6


Today, visit a traditional coffee farm and  learn about the process of how coffee is harvested and roasted. During this unique tour you’ll experience the coffee making process on a coffee plantation first hand; the coffee expert will share with you their knowledge of coffee and will reveal some secrets of planting, harvesting, washing and drying the coffee. Learn how to prepare a cup of coffee before getting your chance to taste some of the best coffee in the world. This immersive encounter offers an authentic glimpse into the soul of Colombia's coffee culture. (B)


Day 7

Salento - Cartagena

Fly to Cartagena, on the Caribbean Coast. On arrival you will be transferred to your hotel, located in the mesmerizing walled city.
The Colombian Caribbean Coast, known for its tropical beaches and captivating colonial towns, remains a beloved destination. The crown jewel is Cartagena, a colonial city graced with enchanting cobblestone streets and vibrant houses within 13km of age-old stone walls. The captivating Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, embodies the area's enchantment. (B)

Day 8


Discover the allure of the Pearl of the Caribbean on a Cartagena city tour.  Explore beyond the old city walls, visiting historical gems like San Felipe de Barajas, a formidable fortress. Then, ascend to La Popa for the monastery and church of La Candelaria, showcasing religious and colonial marvels alongside stunning city vistas.
Returning to the heart of Cartagena, wander cobblestone streets and squares in the colonial Old City. Explore the church and monastery of San Pedro Claver, along with the Palace of Inquisition.

In the afternoon, delve into Cartagena's culinary scene on a 2-hour tour, savouring a mix of Spanish, Afro-Caribbean, and indigenous flavors. Cartagena – Los Limites

Embark on a unique journey today as you become a part of Proyecto Titi's conservation initiatives. Engage in their ongoing endeavors to safeguard the Cotton-top Tamarin and its habitat. Your participation contributes to the crucial mission of preserving this endangered species and supporting the invaluable work of Proyecto Titi.
You will depart Cartagena early in the morning towards Los Límites near the Caribbean coast. Collaborate with a Proyecto Tití researcher to track and observe the cotton-top tamarins, contributing to their preservation.
Savour a hearty Caribbean lunch, crafted by local community members using indigenous ingredients. During the meal, connect with Asoartesanas artisans, creators of exquisite hand-made tote bags from recycled plastic. Immerse in their workshop, titled 'Artisan for a Day', fostering both conservation and cultural exchange. (B)(L)

Day 10


Your experience comes to an end. After breakfast you will be transferred to the airport in Cartagena for your onward flight. (B)
