Day 1
On arrival you will be transferred to your hotel. In the afternoon begin your explorations of Angkor Wat by local remork. Dinner is at a vocational training restaurant. (D)
Day 2
Experience the temples of Angkor by bike. From here travel onwards by car to the pilgrimage site of Kbal Spean. Enjoy a picnic before a 3km roundtrip walk to the ‘River of 1000 Lingas’, with remarkable stone carvings. The final stop is Banteay Srei. (B)(L)
Day 3
Head to Ta Brak Village and share breakfast with a family. From here, take an ox cart ride to a local market. Continue by foot through the charming village and receive a special water blessing by a monk. This evening enjoy a street food Vespa tour. (B)(D)
Day 4
Travel north to Preah Vihear Province. Upon arrival at the foot of the mountain a pickup truck will transfer you to Preah Vihear Temple at the top. (B)(L)
Day 5
Journey to your lodge in the isolated village of Tmatboey, famous for the conservation of the giant ibis, Cambodia’s national bird. Spend the afternoon on wildlife and birding treks. Dinner tonight is home-cooked by the community. (B)(D)
Day 6
Rise early for a wildlife walk. After breakfast depart for Prey Veng village. This afternoon visit a nearby temple and take an evening wildlife walk around the baray spotting sarus cranes, green peafowl, giant ibis and more. Have sundowners on the baray platform. (B)(L)(D)
Day 7
Depart for an early nature walk, or you can choose to relax. After breakfast transfer to Ko Ker, a rarely visited and stunning pyramidal temple. Return to Siem Reap. (B)(L)(D)
Day 8
Transfer to the airport for your onward flight. (B)
