Fly to Bella Coola and transfer to Tweedsmuir Park Lodge. After a safety briefing, your bear viewing commences with a late afternoon river drift down the Atnarko River. Keep your eyes open for wildlife. (L)(D)
Wake up early and wander down to the lodge's wildlife viewing station. Early morning is a great time to spot bears. Head out for a guided nature walk in the old growth forests of Tweedsmuir Park, where you can learn how to track the bears and spot various bear signs. Later, continue exploring with a drive past old abandoned homesteads. At the end there is a recommended short hike to Stillwater Lake. (B)(L)(D)
Enjoy another visit to the wildlife viewing station this morning. Then hit the river with your guide for a morning drift in search of more bears. In the afternoon, head off with your guide to further explore Tweedsmuir Park. (B)(L)(D)
Enjoy one last visit to the wildlife viewing station before breakfast. Transfer to the airport for a mid-morning flight back to Vancouver. (B)
