Transfer by road to Sapa on the Sapa Express bus. Rest or explore the local market in town on arrival.
Take a 30 minute winding road transfer to Ban Khoang Valley. First stop is at Lu Khau Village, home to Blue Hmong and Red Zhao minorities. Explore the village on foot and meet the friendly locals and learn about their colourful culture and lifestyle. Afterwards travel by road to Ta Giang Valley. Walk a village path down the impressive valley, visiting some local houses. See some handicraft workshops and farmers at work. Return to Sapa. (B)(L)
Depart with your guide for a half day trek to Hang Da and Sau Chua villages, where the Black Hmong people are still living their traditional and unique way of life. Explore narrow pathways through the countryside, spotting village houses. (B)(L)
Today is at leisure in Sapa until the Sapa Express bus departs at 4pm back to Hanoi. On arrival in Hanoi, transfer to your hotel. (B)
