Day 1

Saigon

Upon arrival you will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel.

Day 2

Saigon

Experience the hustle and bustle of old Saigon on a city tour including the War Remnants Museum, Notre Dame Cathedral and Reunification Palace. Visit the former Viet Cong stronghold – the Cu Chi Tunnels. (B)(L)

Day 3

Saigon - Hoi An

Travel to Saigon Airport for your late afternoon flight to Danang and then transfer to Hoi An. This afternoon experience the charm of Hoi An on a walking tour, wandering the narrow lanes and gaining an insight into its illustrious past. (B)

Day 4

Hoi An

Venture by an easy bike ride or vehicle along country roads, seeing rural life first hand - buffaloes, rice paddy fields, organic vegetable farms and friendly locals. Afterwards board a boat for a river cruise, where you will learn from a local fishrman the art of traditional net fishing. Visit a water palm area, then enjoy a seafood lunch on board the boat. Day 5

Hoi An - Hue

Enjoy a cyclo ride visiting the Imperial Citadel and Thien Mu Pagoda. Cruise the Perfume River on a dragon boat and visit the royal tomb of Emperor Tu Duc. (B)(L)

Day 6

Hue - Hanoi

Fly from Hue to Hanoi. Hanoi is famous for its beautiful lakes and its thriving Old Quarter. An afternoon tour takes you on a stroll through tree-lined boulevards, uncovering ancient temples and the Old Quarter Duc. (B)(D)

Day 7

Hanoi

Sightseeing begins with a visit to the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum where the preserved body of Ho Chi Minh resides. Explore the Temple of Literature, the bustling Old Quarter and the dazzling West Lake. This afternoon a street food walking tour allows you to discover some of the local favourite dishes and snacks on a visit to one of the last remaining ‘wet markets’ and a walk through the city’s backstreets meeting local vendors. Day 8

Hanoi - Halong Bay

Travel to the spectacular Halong Bay. Board your boat and cruise amongst the dramatic limestone peaks. (B)(D)

Day 9

Halong Bay - Hanoi

Admire the beautiful scenery as the sun rises. You may choose an excursion to a secluded island with a sandy beach for a morning swim. Disembark your boat at 11am and travel back to Hanoi. (B)(L)(D)

Day 10

Hanoi

Transfer to Hanoi Airport for your flight home. (B)
