Travel by road to Agra from Delhi, stopping to explore the city of Sikandra and visit the tomb of Akbar, the greatest of the Mughal emperors. Tour the highlights of Agra, including the celebrated Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. Journey to Jaipur by road. On the way, visit Fatehpur Sikri, India’s legendary ghost town. Visit to the Amber Fort, approaching the gates on the back of a brightly coloured elephant. Afternoon visit to the City Palace Museum, Jai Singh’s Observatory and the spectacular Palace of the Winds.
