Torres del Paine is probably the world’s most spectacular national park and a popular hiking destination. This short version of the W trek, named for the shape of the route, will take you on trails reaching amazing glaciers, grasslands, secluded lakes, forests and the mighty Torres del Paine.

Itinerary

  • Day 1: Punta Arenas – Torres del Paine

    Met at Punta Arenas airport and transfer to EcoCamp located in the world famous Torres del Paine National Park. Visit on the way the small but lively town of Puerto Natales and the massive Milodon cave. Overnight EcoCamp. D

  • Day 2: Torres del Paine – Valle Frances

    Board the catamaran to cross Pehoe Lake to begin the challenging trek to Valle Frances, taking a steep trail that goes into the very heart of the Paine Massif. Next, descend through undulating grassland and light forest until reaching the Refugio Paine Grande for a one night stay. B L D

  • Day 3: Torres del Paine - Glacier Grey

    Today hike along the shores of mountainlined Lake Pehoe towards the impressive Grey Glacier at the northern shore of Grey Lake, the largest glacier in the park. Enjoy a picnic lunch before boarding the boat that sails to the blue face of Grey Glacier. Transfer to the EcoCamp for one night. B L D

  • Day 4: Torres del Paine

    After breakfast trek the most famous trail in Torres del Paine National Park. Follow the winding uphill path to scenic Ascencio Valley. Continue until the magnificent Towers come into full view. Overnight EcoCamp. B L D

  • Day 5: Torres del Paine - Punta Arenas

    Transfer to Punta Arenas for your onward flight. B
