Located 3700 kilometres from the American continent, surrounded by the world’s most transparent waters, Rapa Nui (Easter Island) is the cradle of an unusual and enigmatic culture which persists to this day. The language, music and many traditions remain alive among the island’s inhabitants, while the enormous carved stone moai tell of a more remote past.

Explora en Rapa Nui is situated in seclusion on the island’s southern edge with all of the 30 rooms extending to the north and south from a central building. The lodge has welcoming indoor spaces, integrating aspects of the local culture. Facilities include swimming pool and open air Jacuzzis.

Daily excursions reveal the island’s secrets and let you get to know in depth the culture and geography of Rapa Nui with its ancestral, megalithic constructions, its people and the scenic beauty of the island. Each afternoon, one of the guides will meet you in the lodge bar to offer activities for the following day and help you with the challenging task of choosing between the many available, all of them exciting.

  You will be met at the airport and transferred to Explora Rapa Nui for three nights. (D)

• Day 2-3: Easter Island

  Discover this mysterious island with your choice of daily activities and excursions. Small group explorations include walks to unveil the secrets and beauty of the island. Bicycle through pretty forests and along panoramic coastal paths to view the numerous historical sites. (B, L, D)

• Day 4: Easter Island

  Transfer to Easter Island airport. (B)
