Make the short drive south to discover the beautiful towns of Carmel and Monterey. B

Day 4: San Francisco – Napa Valley
Today leave San Francisco behind en route to the Napa Valley. This area is renowned worldwide for the quality of the wines produced here, and you will have the opportunity to sample some of the best. B

Day 5: Napa Valley
Treat yourself to a cultural adventure with generous helpings of wine, food, art and fun! On any given day, you might compare wines from France, California and New Zealand; taste herbs paired with wine; discover cuisine from Italy or Persia; or indulge in a chocolate tasting experience. This afternoon travel to nearby Sonoma where we have arranged for you to taste wines at the Sonoma Enoteca. B

Day 6: Napa Valley – Yosemite National Park
Leave the wine behind as we head inland to the stunning scenery of Yosemite National Park. We highly recommend leaving the car at the valley floor and taking on one of the many trails to experience the true beauty of Yosemite. B

A further full day to explore Yosemite National Park. B
