Experience a land of glaciers along the Continental Divide and a canyon with its narrow gorge and limestone walls dropping 50 metres below – this is the explorer’s holiday. This is also where the Columbia Icefield is located, a vast icefield that is the largest accumulation of ice in North America.

Itinerary

  • Day 1: Calgary – Lake Louise

    Travel from Calgary into Banff National Park, and the spectacular alpine setting of Lake Louise.

  • Day 2: Lake Louise – Jasper

    Enjoy the breathtaking Icefields Parkway. Visit Bow Lake and Crowfoot Glacier before arriving at the Columbia Icefield for a glacier experience. Continue north to Jasper.

  • Day 3: Jasper

    A sightseeing excursion will introduce you to Jasper’s rugged peaks, canyons and the famous disappearing lake.

  • Day 4: Jasper – Banff

    Today brings you to Banff, where there is plenty of time to stroll the streets for evening shopping and dining at its finest.

  • Day 5: Banff

    Explore the highlights on a sightseeing excursion, including a ride on the Banff Gondola for spectacular mountain views followed by a cruise on Lake Minnewanka.

  • Day 6: Banff – Calgary

    Travel by motorcoach back to the big city lights of Calgary.
