Day 1: Arrive
Nice Tour departs: 3:00 PM, Hotel Negresco, Nice, France. A transfer is included from Nice Cote d'Azur Airport to the Hotel Negresco. Welcome to the lovely Cote d'Azur, the French Riviera; enjoy a walking tour of Nice before joining us tonight for a welcome reception and dinner. Day 2: Monaco / St-Paul-De-Venice
Explore the tiny principality of Monaco, then travel to Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat to tour the lavish estate and gardens of Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild. Visit medieval St- Paul-de-Vence in the Nice countryside; stroll through its cobblestone streets, where many artists, inspired by the region's incredible light, made their homes. Meals BL

Day 3: Explore the Magic of Provence
For centuries, the Provence region has been a favorite of travellers and artists alike. An idyllic country road skirts Mont Ste-Victoire, featured in many of Cazanne's works, en route to Aix-en-Provence, known for its fountains and 96 intimately shaded squares. Travel to ancient Arles for a twonight stay at Hotel Jules Cesar, a 17th-century convent that's now a stately country hotel; walk amidst Old Town's Roman medieval stonework, and visit Les Arenes. Day 4: Nimes / Pont Du Gard / St-Remy
Visit Nimes, one of the best-preserved cities of Roman Gaul, with fine examples of Roman walls, towers, and an amphitheatre still in use today. See the Pont du Gard, a three-level Roman stone aqueduct spanning the Gardon River. Explore St-Remy-de-Provence, where Nostradamus was born and Van Gogh painted, now a chic arts colony; return to your hotel in Arles for a free evening. Meals BL

Day 5: Avignon / TGV Train To Paris
Drive to the remarkable walled city of Avignon, which served as the papal residence in the 14th century, and today has developed into a modern cultural center. Visit the magnificent Gothic Palais des Papes, built for the pontiffs who reigned in Avignon from 1309 to 1376. This afternoon travel first class aboard the TGV, one of Europe's fastest trains, to enchanting Paris. Meals BD

Day 6: Discover Paris
Dynasties and eras, emperors, artists and philosophers all have left their mark on the city of Paris throughout time. Embark on a sightseeing tour this morning to view landmark city sights including the Arc de Triomphe, lavish symbol of Napoleonic Paris; the Champs Elysees; Place de la Concorde; the Eiffel Tower; the Cathedral of Notre Dame; and Palais du Louvre. Spend the rest of the day exploring as you please from your landmark luxury hotel, ideally located in the heart of Paris. Meals B

Day 7: Musee Du Louvre / Seine
Cruise Take a guided tour of Musee du Louvre, originally built as a fortress to protect Paris from Viking raids; in the 16th century, it was replaced by a Renaissance-style building that became a royal residence, and today contains some of the world's most beloved art collections. A visit to this extraordinary museum is followed by time at leisure. You might decide to continue exploring the Louvre, or do some additional sightseeing in Paris.
