Itinerary

• Day 1: Marmaris

  You will be transferred to your hotel and the remainder of the day you are free to explore Marmaris at your own pace. D

• Day 2: Pamukkale & Kusadasi

  Tour the magnificent white calcium formations of Pamukkale, followed by the ancient city of Hierapolis. Take a dip in the hot springs that were used in Roman times for their therapeutic powers before continuing to Kusadasi. B L D

• Day 3: Ephesus & Kusadasi

  Absorb yourself in history today with a guided tour of Ephesus and a visit to the Temple of Artemis. Feel the mystical atmosphere of the ancient city and theatre. Carpet weaving has long traditions in Turkey, and at the carpet village we learn how carpets are made by hand and what determines their value. B L D

• Day 4: Pergamum, Troy & Canakkale

  In the morning enjoy a display of locally handcrafted leather goods before driving along the Aegean Coast to the ancient city of Pergamum, where you will visit the magnificent Acropolis of Pergamum, with its impressive temples and library that made Pergamum a renowned cultural and political centre in its time. Afterwards, continue north to tour the legendary city of Troy. B L D

• Day 5: Gallipoli Battlefields

  After breakfast, visit the WWI Battlefields of Gallipoli including Lone Pine and Chunuk Bair Memorials, Anzac Cove, Johnston's Jolly and Gallipoli Museum, before returning to Istanbul. B L

• Day 6: Istanbul Old City

  Tour the exotic city that spans both Europe and Asia visiting the Blue Mosque, the St Sophia, Topkapi Palace, the Basilica underground cistern and the Hippodrome. B L

• Day 7: Istanbul

  After breakfast, our tour concludes and we say goodbye to our new friends. B
