Day 1: Athens – Delphi
Depart Athens for Delphi via the picturesque village of Arachova, on the slopes of Mt Parnassus. Upon arrival, visit the ruins of the Sanctuary of Apollo Pythios and the informative museum. The afternoon is free for personal exploration. (D)

Day 2: Delphi – Kalambaka
Explore Delphi with some leisure time before an interesting drive through central Greece and the town of Lamia, once an important Spartan military base. Arrive in Kalambaka a small modern town near Meteora. (B) (D)

Day 3: Kalambaka – Athens
Visit the impressive scenery and monasteries perched atop huge rocks at Meteora, a tour highlight. These monasteries, suspended between earth and sky, contain priceless historical and religious treasures. Return to Athens, arriving early evening. (B)
