Itinerary

  • Day 1: Moscow

    Upon arrival in Russia’s capital, transfer to your hotel.
  • Day 2: Moscow

    Enjoy a full day panoramic city tour including the vast Red Square, the amazing architecture of St Basil’s Cathedral and the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour. Also stop by Victory Park, Novodevichy Convent, the White House, home to Russia’s parliament. Visit to The Tretyakov Art Gallery which houses an extensive collection of Russian art. This evening after dinner, enjoy a performance at the Great Moscow State Circus. 
  • Day 3: Moscow

    Today explore the grounds of the magnificent Kremlin. Also visit the fascinating Armoury Museum and view the spectacular collection of costumes, silver and arms amongst a vast treasure trove of exhibits. Enjoy the afternoon at leisure. 
  • Day 4: Moscow – St Petersburg

    Take a walking tour along Arbat Street, once the bohemian capital and a great place for souvenirs. Also visit the ornate metro with its socialist artwork and elaborate fittings before boarding your overnight sleeper
    train to St Petersburg. 
  • Day 5: St Petersburg

    Arrive into one of the world’s most beautiful cities. Take a half day orientation tour including the Peter and Paul Fortress and Nevsky Prospect with its awe-inspiring buildings lining the street. Also stop by the Church of the Spilled Blood and St Isaac’s Cathedral for a quick peek. Have the afternoon free for your own exploration. 
  • Day 6: St Petersburg

    Enjoy a guided tour of the Hermitage Museum, one of the world’s largest and founded in 1764. Look out for masterpieces by Leonardo Da Vinci, Rembrandt and Rubens. Continue to explore the Peter and Paul Fortress, once used to imprison political criminals. 
  • Day 7: St Petersburg

    Journey 45 minutes out of St Petersburg today to the village of Pushkin where the city’s most prized palace – St Catherine’s Summer Palace – is on display amidst glorious gardens. Arrive back in St Petersburg mid-afternoon for some leisure time. 
  • Day 8: St Petersburg

    Your tour ends today with a transfer to the airport.
