Depart for Mostar with its beautiful Ottomanstyle bridge. Recently added to the UNESCO World Heritage list, take in the old bazaar, bridge, the Mosque and a typical Turkish house. Continue to the capital, Sarajevo, for an introductory city tour. Visit Bascarsija, Gazi Husref Bey Mosque and the Tunnel War Museum. B, D.
Drive northwards, stopping at Slavonski Brod en-route, once part of the Roman Empire. Continue to Osijek for overnight stay. B, D.
This morning have a city tour of Osijek, visiting the Baroque Fortress, St Trinity Square, the Water Gate and other city highlights. After the tour, drive down the wine trail to 1526 Cellar for wine tasting. Continue onto Zagreb. B, D.
This morning experience a tour of Zagreb, including the fortifi ed Upper Town, the city's historical centre, St Mark's Church with its multicoloured roof, the Cathedral, the Croatian National Theatre and the University. Continue to the UNESCO World Natural Heritage site of Plitvice Lakes. There are sixteen lakes, each at a different level and joined in a series of cascading waterfalls. Surrounded by dense wood Plitvice Lakes are a natural phenomenon of rare and unique beauty. B, D.
Depart for Split, en-route stopping in Trogir to explore the cathedral, the town’s most imposing monument. In Split enjoy a city tour to visit Diocletian’s Palace, Jupiter’s Temple and the Cathedral. B, D.
On arrival in Dubrovnik enjoy some sightseeing in this beautiful garrisoned city including the Franciscan Monastery, Rector’s Palace and the impressive cathedral. B, D.
Your tour concludes with an airport transfer. B
