Itinerary

  • Day 1: Saigon – Cai Be

    Depart for My Tho by road and check in for your river cruise. Take an excursion around Cai Be, an important Mekong town. (L)(D)

  • Day 2: Cai Be and Sa Dec

    Explore the fascinating floating market at Cai Be. Afternoon excursion by sampan to Sa Dec, along interesting canals and backwaters. (B)(L)(D)  

  • Day 3: Chau Doc/Border Crossing

    Stop by a Cham tribal village and interesting catfish farm and enjoy a trishaw ride around Chau Doc. Return to ship and cast off for the Cambodian border. (B)(L)(D)

  • Day 4: Phnom Penh

    Tour Phnom Penh by cyclo. Afternoon optional excursion to Killing Fields and Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum (must be requested at time of booking). (B)(L)(D)

  • Day 5: Phnom Penh – Kampong Cham

    A relaxed day ahead as you cruise further along the Mekong, observing the vast wetlands and mouth of the river.(B)(L)(D)

  • Day 6: Kampong Cham

    Stop at the little-known Chong Koh silkweaving village for a morning walk. In the afternoon visit Peam Chi Kang village to visit the temple and school.(B)(L)(D)

  • Day 7: Kampong Cham

    Discover the hilltoo temple of Wat Hanchey and in the afternoon travel by coach to the Twin Holy Mountains of Phnom Pros and Phnom Srey. Last stop is the ecotourism village of Choeungkok. (B)(L)(D)

  • Day 8: Siem Reap

    Transfer to Siem Reap, with a midday arrival.(B)
