Itinerary

  • Day 1: Saigon

    Depart Saigon this afternoon and cruise up the broad Mekong tributary. 

  • Day 2: Cai Be and Vinh Long

    A local boat will take you to Cai Be floating market, then go ashore to visit the Gothic Cathedral and a rice paper manufacturer. Return to ship and cruise to Vinh Long where you can explore the bustling markets. B L D

  • Day 3: Sa Dec and Tan Chau

    Pass local markets on a boat to Sa Dec, and take a tour to Huynh Thuy Le's old house and Thien Hau Pagoda. Re-board the ship and cruise to the peaceful town of Tan Chau where you can enjoy a leisurely walk through the town. B L D.

  • Day 4: Border Crossing

    On a small boat travel along tiny tributaries to an evergreen island and floating fish farm. Then, tour Tan Chau by rickshaw. Remainder of day is spent on-board. B L D.

  • Day 5: Phnom Penh

    On arrival in Phnom Penh a tour will take you to the Royal Palace, Silver Palace and National Museum. After lunch tour the infamous Killing Fields and Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum. Unwind with a folklore performance in the evening. B L D

  • Day 6: Chong Koh, Oudong and Kampong Tralach

    Take a leisurely walk around the little-known silkweaving village of Chong Koh, then continue cruising to Prek K'Dam where you'll disembark for Oudong. The final stop is Kampong Tralach where an ox cart takes you through rice fields and a small village to Tonle River. B L D.

  • Day 7: Kampong Chhnang

    Enjoy a boat excursion to the wetlands near Kampong Chhnang, then return to ship and cast off for Tonle Sap Lake, passing floating villages. Farewell dinner this evening. B L D

  • Day 8: Tonle River – Siem Reap

    Disembark after breakfast. B.
