Day 1: Hanoi – Lao Cai overnight train
This evening transfer to Hanoi Train Station for the overnight train to Lao Cai, the gateway to Sapa.

Day 2: Lao Cai – Sapa
On arrival in the border town of Lao Cai transfer to the former hill station of Sapa. Take a morning walking tour of Sapa for a visit to the busy market where ethnic minority people converge to sell their silverware and handicrafts. Following take a light trek to discover Sapa's quaint hill tribe villages set against the stunning Hoang Lien Son Mountain Range and Indochina's highest peak, Mt. Fansipan. (B) (L)

Day 3: Sapa - Lao Cai - Hanoi
Have breakfast before a short walk to a hill-tribe village. Here you'll have the opportunity to visit some local homes to understand more on the daily life of these tribes as well as their culture and traditions. In the later afternoon transfer back to Lao Cai where you can freshen up in a hotel room before the overnight train trip. (B) (L)

Early arrival in Hanoi then transfer to your hotel or the airport.
