Day 1: Hanoi
Transfer to your hotel on arrival.

Day 2: Hanoi
Explore Hanoi by bus and on foot visiting Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum, his former residence and the famed One Pillar Pagoda. In the afternoon finalise your trip preparation with a bike fitting and short test-ride through Hanoi, followed by a full briefing before dinner. B

Day 3: Hanoi - Hue overnight train
Awake early to witness local Hanoi life along the lake shores and enjoy a local breakfast of Pho Bo (beef noodle soup). The morning ride takes you on the outskirts of Hanoi, alongside the Red River, a fascinating introduction into life outside the big capital. After an early dinner back in the city, transfer to the train station for the overnight ride to Hue. (Cycling approx 35km). B L D

Day 4: Hue
Arrive in Hue this morning and begin cycling through town, across the Perfume River and to Hue's Imperial Citadel. Explore the sprawling complex on foot before continuing the ride along dirt tracks to the Mausoleums of Tu Duc and Khai Dinh. Ride past relics and ruins until you reach the beautiful Thien Mu Pagoda. (Cycling approx 45km). BL

Day 5: Hue - Hoi An
A classic day of cycling from Hue, following a picturesque road to Vinh Loc. Then join the legendary Highway 1 for three intense climbs. After the hard work, be rewarded with a swim at Lang Co Beach and re-fuel with lunch before the ascent over Hai Van Pass. Transfer the remainder of the distance by van in to Hoi An. (Cycle approx 100kms). B L

Day 6: Hoi An – My Son – Hoi An
A challenging ride from the outskirts of Hoi An on a quiet back road, where few tourists venture, to the famous Cham Towers of My Son. Arrive tired but triumphant at these most wonderful towers and enjoy a picnic lunch before transferring back to Hoi An for dinner. (Cycle approx 60km). B L.

Day 7: Hoi An – Danang – Nha Trang
After a leisurely breakfast, transfer to the airport for the flight to Nha Trang, where 10km of white sandy beaches await. Cycle around Nha Trang before taking a sunset stroll along the beach. (Cycle approx 30km). B L.

Day 8: Nha Trang – Dalat
Transfer past the busy traffic of Highway 1 to the Po Klong Garai Cham towers for the starting point of today's uphill ride. The road is quiet and shady for the most part as you pedal steadily upwards, ascending more than 1000 metres to the lush green fields of Dalat. (Cycle approx 100km). B L.

Day 9: Dalat – Phan Thiet
Ride along stunning mountain roads back down to the coast. It’s a fast ride in parts with plenty of downhill, and a few challenging short climbs through the rolling terrain. Time permitting cycle all the way, or transfer the last leg along a flat plain to Phan Thiet town. (Cycle 90km). B L.

Day 10: Phan Thiet – Saigon
Cycle a pleasant coastal road to Khe Ga lighthouse – a stark contrast to previous days cycling, with sand dunes and desert cape the feature of the day. Then load up for the threehour drive to Saigon. (Cycle 50km). B L D.

Day 11: Dalat – Nha Trang
Transfer to the airport for your onward flight. B.
