This tour is jam-packed full of amazing scenary, culture, food and unique experiences. Explore Sam Roi Yot National Park, the ancient chedi of Phra Borom That Chaiya, cruise in search of the rare pink dolphins and learn about elephants and their mahouts in Khao Sok National Park.

Itinerary

  • Days 1: Bangkok – Samut Songkram – Pranburi

    Drive south of Bangkok to Samut Songkram, a short train ride bounding for a country market that has sprouted along the railway, where vendors quickly pack their stalls as trains approach. Then we will visit Tha Kha by paddleboat, one of the many floating markets in the area. Cruise past plantations and Buddhist temples before stopping to enjoy a glass of palm sugar syrup and chat with a friendly local family. Following lunch, proceed to King Rama II Memorial Park and then continue to Pranburi. L.

  • Days 2: Pranburi – Chumporn

    Depart for Sam Roi Yot National Park, home to various kinds of local and migrating birds. Take a boat trip to Laem Sala Beach and walk uphill to Phraya Nakorn Cave. After lunch continue the drive to Chumporn. B, L.

  • Days 3: Chumporn – Nakhon Si Thammarat

    Depart for Surat Thani via the beautiful beach of Hat Sai Ri and a monkey training camp. Arrive in Surat Thani and visit the forest temple of Wat Suan Mokkhaphalaram. Visit to Phra Borom That Chaiya, an ancient chedi housing Buddha relics and several sculptures and Buddha images. Continue to Kha Nom. B L.

  • Days 4: Nakhon Si Thammarat

    Explore by boat in search of the Pink Dolphins, a rare subspecies of the Chinese white dolphin. Drive to the city of Nakorn Si Thammarat and visit one of the most revered and largest Buddhist temples in the southern region, Wat Mahathat. After lunch continue to the only existing Shadow Puppet Museum in the Kingdom. B L.

  • Day 5: Nakhon Si Thammarat – Khao Sok

    After breakfast, depart to Khao Sok, covered by the oldest evergreen rainforest in the world. Check-in at Elephant Hills luxury tented camp where, in the afternoon, you will learn about the life of the elephant and their mahout . Afternoon, take a jungle river canoe trip. B L D.

  • Day 6: Khao Sok National Park

    Explore a jungle lake by boat, where there are over 100 islands to discover. Perhaps even take a swim. B L.

  • Day 7: Khao Sok – Phuket

    Explore the jungle on foot before return to Phuket Hotel or Airport. B L.
