Itinerary

  • Day 1: Kota Kinabalu – Sukau

    Fly to Sandakan and drive to the fascinating caves at Gomantong to explore the biggest birds’ nest caves in Sabah. Continue to the quiet village of Kinabalu Park. L, D.

  • Day 2: Ox Bow Lakes and Nature Trail

    Rise early to visit Ox Bow Lake where numerous species of bird abound. Around this region, the elusive pygmy elephant may also be spotted by lucky visitors. B, L, D.  

  • Day 3: Sepilok – Kota Kinabalu

    This morning journey by road to the informative Sepilok Orang-Utan Centre where orphaned orang-utans are rehabilitated. Arrive in time for their daily feed of bananas and pineapple. Return to Sandakan for return flight to Kota Kinabalu. B.
