Itinerary

  • Day 1: Kota Kinabalu – Turtle Island

    Fly to Sandakan and transfer by boat to beautiful Libaran Island. After checking in to your accommodation, explore the nearby fisherman's village and observe the local life.

  • Day 2: Turtle Island – Libaran Island

    In the morning take a glass bottom boat cruise or snorkel at the nearby marine islands where you can see a wonderful array of colourful coral and fish. Late afternoon, take a boat to Selingan Turtle Island, where there is the rare opportunity to witness the huge green turtles lumber ashore and lay their eggs on the beach. The eggs are then transferred to a hatchery for incubation before the hatchlings can then scramble back to sea. Return to Libaran Island.

  • Day 3: Libaran Island – Kota Kinabalu

    Depart Libaran Island for Sepilok Orang Utan Centre where volunteers aid orphaned orang utans towards rehabilitation to the wild. Your tour concludes with a return flight to Kota Kinabalu.
