Itinerary

  • Day 1: Brunei – Temburong

    Depart Bandar Seri Begawan for Temburong National Park, considered the best preserved tropical rainforest in Borneo and located in Brunei’s easternmost district.

    En-route travel through Limbang in Sarawak, a small rural town with an interesting museum and local market.

    Cross Temburong River by ferry and drive into Temburong National Park where your rest house awaits. L, D. 

  • Day 2: Temburong – Keningau

    Experience a longboat ride to the park headquarters and climb gently-sloped steps to the canopy walkway to see the rainforest in all its glory.

    Return to base with time for an optional dip in the nearby waterfall. From here, cross from Sarawak to Sabah over the state border, driving to Keningau passing spectacular scenery, including rice paddies, valleys and forests. B, L, D.  

  • Day 3: Keningau – Beaufort

    Visit Sabah Agricultural Park in Tenom which boasts an amazing collection of native flowers and plants. Next, stop by coffee and rubber factories before departing by road for Beaufort, famed for its stilt housing. B, L, D.  

  • Day 4: Beaufort – Kota Kinabalu

    Explore the fascinating Beaufort shops on stilts that are raised high to avoid the periodic flooding of the Padas River and visit a local market famous for its jungle produce.

    The monument of war hero, Thomas L. Starcavich is your next stop before the final drive to Sabah’s capital, Kota Kinabalu where your tour concludes at your pre-booked hotel. B, L.
