This short tour takes in the country’s highlights, including Jordan’s capital - Amman, the rose-red city of Petra and the seaside location of Aqaba.

Itinerary

  • Day 1: Amman

    On arrival transfer to your hotel.

  • Day 2: Amman

    Enjoy a morning city tour, including the Jordan Archaeological Museum with its fascinating Dead Sea bronze scroll. In the afternoon you will be taken to the Greco-Roman city of Jerash, famous for its unbroken record of 6500 years of human occupation.

  • Day 3: Amman – Petra

    Travel along the Kings’ Highway, used as a trading route for the past 5000 years. En-route to Petra visit Mt Nebo. Perched on a hilltop with spectacular desert views, there is a rich collection of 3rd - 7th century mosaics on display.

  • Day 4: Petra – Aqaba

    Visit the Nabataean capital. Carved rose-red structures form an imposing and awe-inspiring view for which pictures and guide books cannot prepare you. Marvel at the Treasury, once a place of sacrifice, the royal tombs and the Roman-style theatre. Continue to the Red Sea resort of Aqaba, with its crystal clear water and countless varieties of exotic fish and coral, a magical place to relax.

  • Day 5: Aqaba – Amman

    Enjoy a morning at leisure before returning to Amman. En-route, visit the eerie moon-like landscape of Wadi Rum.

  • Day 6: Amman

    Transfer to the airport.
