Itinerary

• Day 1: Colombo – Kandalama

  You will be met at your hotel and travel by road to Kandalama, stopping at the Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage. Stay for two nights at the Hotel Heritance Kandalama.

• Day 2: Sigiriya – Polonnaruwa

  After breakfast, travel to Sigiriya and climb the rock fortress and visit the world renowned frescoes of the Heavenly Maidens. Later, visit the World Heritage city of Polonnaruwa. B. 

• Day 3: Dambulla – Kandy

  Visit the impressive cave temples at Dambulla. Continue to Kandy, stopping at a spice garden en-route. After checking-in to your hotel, the Earls Regency Hotel, enjoy a city tour and evening cultural show.  B. 

• Day 4: Kandy – Nuwara Eliya

  After breakfast, enjoy a train ride from Kandy to Nanu Oya. Overnight at the Tea Factory Hotel.  B. 

• Day 5: Nuwara Eliya – Yala

  Journey to Yala, with a stop at Ella Gap, for spectacular views of the eastern plains. Overnight at Yala Village.  B.

• Day 6: Yala – Galle – Ahungalla

  After a morning safari of Yala National Park, visit the historic Galle Fort. Overnight at the Heritance Ahungalla.  B.

• Day 7: Ahungalla – Colombo

  Transfer to airport for your onward flight or extend your stay at the Heritance Ahungalla.  B.
