Itinerary

  • Day 1: Shanghai

    Transfer to your hotel on arrival.

  • Day 2: Shanghai

    Sightseeing includes a visit to the Yu Garden and Bazaar, the Bund with its stunning architecture and the Jade Buddha Temple, one of Shanghai's few active Buddhist Temples. In the evening watch a performance of lithe acrobats. B, L.

  • Day 3: Longsheng

    Enjoy a morning at leisure before transferring to the airport for your afternoon flight to Guilin.

  • Day 4: Longsheng

    Check out of your hotel taking only hand luggage for an overnight stay in Longsheng, a stunning mountain area with beautiful steeped rice terraces, and the friendliness of the Red Yao and Zhuang ethnic minorities. B, D.

  • Day 5: Guilin

    Transfer back to your Guilin hotel. In the afternoon experience a half day tour of Guilin's prettiest sights. Also take a fascinating calligraphy lesson to learn this ancient Chinese art form. In the evening join a nightwalking tour – the best time to see this vibrant city. B, D.

  • Day 6: Guilin – Yangshuo

    Enjoy a cruise along the beautiful Li River, world-famous for its dramatic limestone karst scenery. Upon arrival in Yangshuo enjoy some free time to take in the relaxing atmosphere of this charming town. B L

  • Day 7: Yangshuo – Xian

    Begin the day with a leisurely bicycle ride through the alluring Yangshuo countryside. On return to the town participate in a handson cooking demonstration. From Yangshuo, drive to the airport for your fl ight to Xian. Upon arrival in China’s ancient capital, transfer to your hotel. B L

  • Day 8: Xian

    Visit the amazing 6000-strong army of Terracotta Warriors and horses, as well as the hisgoda, with its scenic grounds. 

  • Day 9: Xian – Beijing

    Visit the amazing 6000-strong army of Terracotta Warriors and horses, as well as the Qin Tomb for the first Chinese emperor who ordered to build the Terracotta Warriors and Horses. The fi nal stop is the Neolithic village Banpo. B L

  • Day 10: Beijing

    After checking-in to your accommodation and taking some free time to freshen up, travel some 90 km out of Beijing to see the largest manmade structure in the world, the Great Wall at Mutianyu. L

  • Day 11: Beijing

    Explore the capital’s key cultural sights, including the Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven and Tiananmen Square. B L

  • Day 12: Beijing

    Transfer to the airport for your international flight home. B
