Itinerary

  • Day 1: Victoria Falls, Zambia

    Transfer from Livingstone airport to Tongabezi Lodge, situated on the banks of the Zambezi River.

  • Day 2: Victoria Falls

    Opportunities for a game drive, village visit, sunset cruise, fishing or optional adrenaline activities.

  • Day 3: Victoria Falls – South Luangwa

    Fly to Mfuwe, and transfer by open 4WD to Mfuwe Lodge. The drive takes about 45 min and gives a fascinating insight into rural Zambia passing through a number of villages. Mfuwe Lodge is situated inside the South Luangwa Park. Each of the 18 chalets overlooks a lagoon allowing guests to view elephant, hippo, crocodiles and many antelope species from the comfort of their deck.

  • Day 4: South Luangwa

    Activities from Mfuwe Lodge include day and night game drives, lion and leopard are often seen, and walking with a professional guide and armed scout.

  • Day 5: South Luangwa - Lower Zambezi

    Fly to the Lower Zambezi and transfer to Chongwe River Camp. Chongwe has a stunning location overlooking the confluence of the Chongwe and Zambezi rivers and the mountains of the escarpment to the north. The lodge has eight tents under thatch with open-air bathrooms.

  • Day 6 & 7: Lower Zambezi

    Exceptional bird life and great game viewing opportunities are available on both day and night drives by open safari vehicle, on foot or by canoe and motorboat.

  • Day 8: Lower Zambezi – Lusaka

    Transfer to Royal Airstrip for your flight to Lusaka.

    Tongabezi

    Features: Tongabezi is a romantic hideaway on the banks of the Zambezi River just upstream from Victoria Falls. The lodge has fi ve luxury river cottages, one garden cottage and five unique houses to choose from.

    Mfuwe Lodge
