Itinerary

• Day 1-6: South Africa – Botswana - Zambia

  From Johannesburg head to southern Africa’s most famed game reserve, Kruger National Park. Spend two nights in the Kruger area searching for the Big Five. Continue north to Botswana and Chobe National Park. Cross into Zambia to Victoria Falls.

• Day 7-9: Zambia – Botswana

  Continue exploring the Victoria Falls area before returning to Botswana. Visit Chobe National Park* for an early morning game drive and afternoon cruise (optional extras). Note: Guests may also join on day seven in Livingstone for a 19 day (ref: SWS19).

• Day 10-12: Botswana

  Further south is the Okavango Delta*, a natural wetland where the Okavango River fans out into the largest inland delta in the world. Explore the myriad of waterways and stunning scenery on foot and by mokoro (optional extra).

• Day 13-17: Botswana – Namibia

  Cross into Namibia and join bushmen for an informative walk* (optional extra) before continuing to Windhoek and Etosha National Park in Namibia. Spend two days tracking game in this vast arid region. Continue into Damaraland, an area of eerie landscapes and barren rocky outcrops.

• Day 18-21: Namibia

  Reach the Atlantic coast and visit the Cape Cross Seal Colony and Swakopmund. Continue south to the Namib Naukluft Park, featuring the world’s highest sand dunes.

• Day 20-25: Namibia – South Africa

  Visit Fish River Canyon, the second-largest canyon in the world, before crossing into South Africa. Camp on the banks of the Orange River and continue to the cosmopolitan city of Cape Town. Take a cultural visit to a local township and enjoy a traditional lunch before the South West Safari ends.
