Itinerary
-
Day 1: Johannesburg – Kruger National Park
Head east into the Greater Kruger region beyond the Drakensberg Mountains and arrive at a private reserve. This afternoon visit a cheetah rehabilitation centre and get up close to these amazing cats.
-
Day 2-3: Kruger National Park
Enter Kruger National Park in open game drive vehicles. Kruger is home to over 505 species of birds, 148 species of mammals and an abundance of reptiles. Spend two days enjoying game drives in the park, mainly going out in the early morning or late afternoon when animals are at their most active and predators are on the prowl. Rest during the heat of the day when there is time to swim in the camp pool. After dinner there’s time to share stories around camp before retiring to your pre-erected tent. There is also the chance to take either an optional morning game walk as the bushveld wakes, or an optional night drive to experience Kruger under the cover of darkness and meet some of its nocturnal inhabitants.
-
Day 4: Kruger National Park – Johannesburg
Game drive to the park gates before exiting and transferring back to Johannesburg where the tour ends in the late afternoon.
