This tour travels from the highlands of Antananarivo, down through the forested Andasibe region and on to the flat coastal plains of Eastern Madagascar and the Pangalanes Canal.
On arrival transfer to your hotel.
Depart for the Vakona Forest Lodge, stopping at a farm to see reptiles enroute. Visit Lemur Island in the Vakona Private Park and enjoy an evening walk.
Visit the reserve and listen to the Indri Indri lemur singing. The reserve boasts many lemur, reptiles and birds.
Travel via the Pangalanes Canal to the Bush House in Akanin’ny Nofy.
Choose from a selection of activities (extra cost), such as a school visit, lake tour, ocean walk or visit the Palmarium, a private reserve with several species of lemur, endemic palms and orchids.
Travel by boat to Tamatave.
