Itinerary

  • Day 1: Cairo

    On arrival in Cairo, transfer to your hotel.

  • Day 2: Cairo

    Enjoy a full day tour of the Great Pyramids, the Sphinx, a perfume factory, the Papyrus Museum before visiting the famous Egyptian Museum. Conclude the tour with a visit to Khan El Khalili Bazaar. B L

  • Day 3: Cairo – Bahariya Oasis

    Depart Cairo by 4WD to Bahariya Oasis. Enroute stop at Wadi El Hitan “Whale Valley”, in the Western Desert of Egypt. Invaluable fossil remains of the earliest, and now extinct, suborder of whales where discovered here. Continue to Bahariya Oasis. B

  • Day 4: Bahariya Oasis

    Travel today by 4WD to the White Desert. Visiting El Haiz, the Black Desert, Crystal Mountain, the Old and the New White Deserts. See the beautiful formations and have a picnic lunch in the White Desert. B L D

  • Day 5: Bahariya Oasis

    Full day sightseeing visiting the Mummy's Hall, Tomb of Bennentoiu, Tomb of Zed Amun EF Ankh, temple of Ain El Muftella and the Temple of Alexander the Great. B L

  • Day 6: Bahariya Oasis – Siwa Oasis

    A long day ahead. Travel by 4WD to Siwa Oasis over the western desert approximately 440 km. Siwa is one of the world’s last remaining pristine oases, home to spectacular natural landscapes, ancient historical ruins and unique cultural traditions. B L

  • Day 7: Siwa Oasis

    Today visit Cleopatra’s bath/pool and swim in a hot spring. Also visit the remains of the ancient fortress town of Shali, the ancient Roman tombs Gabal el Mouta, the Temple of Amon, Oracle Temple, Alexander's Temple and Sault Lake. B

  • Day 8: Siwa Oasis – Marsa Matrouh

    Depart Siwa and travel to Marsa Matrouh. The beach is famous for its white soft sands and calm transparent waters. B

  • Day 9: Marsa Matrouh – Alexandria

    Depart for Alexandria and enroute visit El Alamein, famous as the place where the Allied forces of World War II gained a decisive victory over the Axis forces. Visit the War Museum with collectibles from the Battle of El Alamein and other North African battles. Visit the Commonwealth cemeteries. After a picnic lunch, continue onto Alexandria. B L

  • Day 10: Alexandria

    Explore Alexandria on a full day tour. Visit the Catacombs of Kom El Shokafa, the Roman Amphitheater, where over 30 years of excavation have uncovered many Roman remains. See the Qaitpey Citadel, the fort was built in the 1480's on the site of Alexandria's ancient lighthouse. Stop by Alexandria Library which overlooks the Mediterranean Sea. B L

  • Day 11: Alexandria – Cairo

    Return to Cairo. B
