Itinerary

• Day 1: Cairo

  On arrival transfer to your hotel.

• Day 2: Cairo

  Visit the Pyramids, Sphinx, Memphis and Sakkara. L

• Day 3: Cairo – Abu Simbel

  Transfer to Cairo airport for your flight to Abu Simbel via Aswan. Board your ship and enjoy lunch on board before a visit to Abu Simbel Temple. This evening, there is an option (not included in cruise cost)to see the Sound and Light Show at the temple. B L D

• Day 4: Abu Simbel – Amada

  This morning view the Citadel of Kasr Ibrim from the ship’s sundeck, as the site is located 70m high on a cliff and access is not permitted. Continue sailing to Amada. Visit the temple of Amada and Derr as well as the tomb of Penout, viceroy of Nubia. B L D

• Day 5: Amada – Aswan

  Visit Wadi El Sebou and Dakka. Continue sailing to Aswan. B L D

• Day 6: Aswan

  Disembark after breakfast. Experience an overnight stay at Anakato Nubian Cultural House. Activities available to do include sand boarding, bird watching, Nubian massage, camel rides. B L D

• Day 7: Aswan

  After breakfast transfer to your hotel, located on the Nile River. This afternoon explore the city of Aswan visiting the High Dam, the Unfinished Obelisk and the Temple of Philae. B

• Day 8: Aswan

  Join your Nile Cruise, sailing to Luxor. After settling in and lunch onboard taken an afternoon tour by felucca around Elephantine Island, the Botanical Gardens and Aga Khan Mausoleum. Return to the cruise ship for your first night onboard. B L D

• Day 9: Aswan – Edfu

  Morning at leisure before setting sail downstream to Kom Ombo and visit the ancient temples. Return onboard and sail to Edfu, where the ship will dock for the night. B L D

• Day 10: Edfu – Luxor

  This morning visit the Temple of Edfu. Return to the ship and sail onwards to Esna. Here, all boats going both up and down stream must pass through this lock, two boats at a time. Continue onto Luxor and dock for the night. B L D

• Day 11: Luxor

  Disembark the cruise ship and transfer to the West Bank to overnight at a boutique hotel that is unique in style and service. B L D

• Day 12: Luxor

  This morning visit the Valley of the Kings and the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. This evening experience the Sound and Light Show at Karnak Temple. B L D

• Day 13: Luxor – Cairo

  Transfer to the airport for your return flight to Cairo. B

• Day 14: Cairo

  Enjoy a sightseeing tour taking in Coptic Cairo, including visits to the historical Ben Ezra Synagogue, the ancient Basilican Hanging Church and the Coptic Museum. B

• Day 15: Cairo

  Transfer to the airport. B
