Day 1: Arrive Arusha, Tanzania

Day 2: Hiking in Kilimanjaro or a game drive in Arusha

Join an experienced local guide on a game drive in Arusha National Park to look for gentle giraffes, boisterous baboons, colorful flamingoes and big buffalo. Or, hike with us up the Merengu trail in Kilimanjaro National Park, home to inquisitive monkeys, doe-eyed antelopes and abundant birdlife. After your hike, meet a member of the Chagga tribe, whose terraced farming techniques have helped conserve this amazing natural habitat. Take a closer look at their 300-year-old customs when you go inside a multi-generational private home and learn about daily life on the slopes of Kilimanjaro. Day 3: Experience Tarangire
Your family's Africa tour continues as you head to Tarangire National Park today, immortalized by many movies about Africa. Take a look at the classic African savannah studded with baobob trees and the wildlife-rich plains of the Serengeti. Hop aboard our open-topped safari vehicles for a game drive. Day 6: Exploring Africa's Garden of Eden
One of the best places in Africa to spot the Big Five- elephants, leopards, lions, buffalo and the rare black rhinoceros- ancient Ngorongoro Crater is home to almost every species in Africa, except the giraffe who can't negotiate the steep incline down. Inclusive Prices: All safari expenses and adventures, local guides, entertainment, land transportation, luggage handling, admission fees, the services of the Tour Director, as well as the hot air balloon ride and one on-tour air excursion are included.
Recommended age: 8+
Note: Children under 18 must be booked in a room with at least one adult. Triples are usually a two-bedded room plus one rollaway cot, when available. Quadruple accommodations are not available on this tour.
Safari Lodge and Hotel Accommodations: Price includes all hotels, safari lodges and tented safari camps with en suite facilities including showers, flush toilets and hot and cold running water.
At some properties in Africa where rooms and beds are small, a triple may be accommodated in a single and double-bedded room. Connecting and adjacent rooms are by request only and are not guaranteed
Child/Adult Pricing: Children less than 18 years of age must be booked in a room with at least one adult. To qualify for a child discount, the child's birth date must be provided at time of booking.
