Tanzania, sharing its borders with Kenya, between the two they have created the world’s largest wildlife sanctuary; the Masai Mara reserve in Kenya and the Serengeti on the Tanzanian side.

Overview for Tanzania

Tanzania is a kaleidoscope of landscapes and diversity with a balmy climate, offering a rich tapestry of culture and fantastic game viewing.

One of the most famous reserves is the Masai Mara Reserve. Game concentrations are at their greatest from around July to October when the migrating herds filter across the Mara River from the Serengeti. Tanzania’s Serengeti is a spectacular game park where millions of wildebeest congregate annually. Every year after the south’s short November rains, wildebeest, zebra, and hartebeest gather in their thousands on the Serengeti’s southern plains and the Ngorongoro Highlands.Click here to read more...
