Track the remarkable mountain gorillas, followed by some rest and relaxation at the beautiful Lake Kivo.
On arrival transfer to the Kigali Serena Hotel. Afternoon sightseeing tour and a visit to the Genocide Memorial.
Early departure to the Volcanoes National Park. After a briefing by the national parks guides, begin your gorilla trek in search of these magnificent primates. In the afternoon, time permitting, visit the markets, villages and local communities or take an optional visit to the twin lakes of Bulera and Ruhondo (extra cost). Overnight at the Sabyinyo Silverback Lodge. This luxury lodge has eight cottages and suites and affords wonderful views of the Volcanoes and the surrounding countryside.
Drive to Lake Kivu and spend the day at this beautiful inland sea enclosed by steep, green terraced hills. Overnight at the Lake Kivu Serena Hotel.
Full day at leisure to explore the local area.
After breakfast, enjoy the scenic transfer back to Kigali.
