Situated on the border of Switzerland and France, the Jura plateau is one of France's top cross-country skiing destinations. The plateau offers beautiful natural scenery, a remote setting and excellent conditions for cross-country ski touring. For this terrain we will use Nordic skis, a variation and ancestor to the cross-country ski, as they are perfectly adapted to the rolling hills of Jura and are easy to use. In order to fully discover the winter wilderness we will mostly ski off the tracks as well as spend two nights in remote mountain refuges.
