Adventure World wins Prestigious Award for contribution to Indian tourism

Adventure World has scooped an award for the second consecutive year as the Best Overseas Tour Operator to India from Australia and New Zealand.

The award was presented at a glittering awards ceremony held at the prestigious Vigyan Bhawan conference venue  in New Delhi on February 29, 2012. The awards are presented by the Indian Ministry of Tourism to state Governments, hotels, travel agents, and tour operators for their contributions towards the growth of tourism to India.
Her Excellency, the President of India, Mrs Pratibha Devisingh Patil was the Guest of Honour and presented the awards. Presiding over the function was  the Minister of Tourism, Mr Subodh Kant Sahai, and the Minister of State for Tourism, Mr Sultan Ahmed.
Raj Bajaj, Director of Adventure World India accepted the Crystal Trophy as well as the Golden Shield Certificate on behalf of Adventure World, Australia and New Zealand.
Dave Nicholson, general manager for Adventure World New Zealand said the company was honoured to receive the award for the second year in a row.
