Day 1

Windhoek - Kalahari Desert

Depart Windhoek and drive to the Kalahari Desert via the small town of Rehoboth, a community that still lives according to their paternal laws dating back to 1872. Enjoy a scenic sunset nature drive in an open safari vehicle before dinner. (D)

Day 2

Kalahari Desert - Fish River Canyon

After breakfast, drive through the Kalahari region and visit the Quiver Tree Forest near Keetmanshoop. Visit Naute Dam, Namibia’s third largest dam. (B)(D)

Day 3

Fish River Canyon - Lüderitz

This morning travel to the spectacular Fish River Canyon, the largest canyon in Africa. Your journey continues to Lüderitz. (B)

Day 4

Lüderitz

Visit Kolmanskop, a deserted diamond mining town in the Sperrgebiet National Park. On return, stop at Diaz Point, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Afternoon at leisure. (B)

Day 5

Lüderitz - Namib Naukluft Park

After breakfast, travel along the Tiras Mountain range to your lodge in the Namib Desert, located near the gateway to Sossusvlei. Afternoon at leisure. (B)

Day 6

Namib Naukluft Park

Enter the Namib Naukluft National Park at sunrise to capture its surreal landscapes on camera. Walk up one of the majestic dunes before visiting Sesriem Canyon. 

Day 7

Namib Naukluft Park - Swakopmund

After breakfast, continue towards Walvis Bay. Your journey continues to Swakopmund. Enjoy a sundowner drive to the Moon Landscape, a barren undulating rocky desert which was formed by they valleys of the Swakop River. (B)

Day 8

Swakopmund

Explore the quaint town of Swakopmund. You may wish to book one of the many optional day tours that are available (at own expense). (B)

Day 9

Swakopmund- Damaraland

Head to Damaraland, home of the elusive desert elephant and Black Rhino. View ancient rock art at Twyfelfontein and the Petrified Forest. Visit the Living Museum of the Damara. (B)

Day 10

Damaraland - Etosha National Park

After breakfast, travel to your camp just outside the Etosha National Park and explore the park on guided afternoon safari (closed vehicle) (seasonal). (B)(L)(D)

Day 11

Etosha National Park

Spend the day seeking out abundant wildlife, includng the Big Five, giraffe, blue wilderbeest, hyena, kudu, eland and more (closed vehicle). Etosha is known for its waterholes which provide the opportunity to simply sit silently and wait for the wildlife to come to you. (B)

Day 12

Etosha National Park

The morning will be spent in Etosha National Park, exploring the waterholes along this enormous saltpan. There will be another opportunity in the afternoon for a game drive (own expense). There are close to 114 species of mammal in Etosha including the black faced impala and black and white rhino. (B)

Day 13

Etosha National Park - Windhoek

After breakfast, travel south towards Otjiwarongo. Continue towards Windhoek via Okahandja. Your journey ends in Windhoek late in the afternoon. (B)
