Day 1

Mulu National Park

Arrive in Mulu and transfer to your accommodation. In the afternoon, visit Deer Cave and Lang Cave. En route visit the Canopy Walkway, the longest tropical walkway in the world. (D)

Day 2

Mulu National Park

Travel by longboat upriver to Wind Cave via the Penan settlement, home to this fascinating tribe. The Penan people are hunter-gatherers by nature and remarkably have no social classes or hierarchies. Also visit Clearwater Cave where unusual stone formations can be seen. As night falls, head out on a walking tour to see the jungle come alive with nocturnal creatures. (B)(L)(D)
