Day 1

Tel Aviv

On arrival at Ben Gurion Airport you will be met and transferred to your hotel in Tel Aviv. (D)

Day 2

Tel Aviv - Haifa - Kibbutz

Drive along the coastal plain to Caesarea, capital of Judea under the Romans. Visit the excavations of the ancient city, the Roman theatre and aqueduct. Continue to Megiddo, identified as the site of Armageddon. Drive to Haifa for a panoramic view of the Bahai Gardens and Haifa Bay. Continue to Kibbutz for the night. (B)(D)

Day 3

Sea of Galilee

After a short tour of Tiberias, enjoy a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee. Visit Yigal Alon Museum where the “Jesus boat” is displayed. Continue to Capernaum and visit the remains of the second century synagogue. Proceed to Tabgha, the site of the miracle of fish and loaves, and visit the Church of Multiplication. Continue to Mount of Beatitudes, the place where Jesus delivered the Sermon on the Mount. Drive to the Banias springs and waterfalls and tour the Golan Heights. Overnight Kibbutz. (B)(D)

Day 4

Kibbutz - Jerusalem

Drive to Nazareth and visit the Church of Annunciation, St. Joseph’s workshop and Mary’s well. Drive to Yardenit, the baptismal site on the Jordan River. Continue to Beit Shean and visit the Roman theatre. Drive along the Jordan River to Jerusalem. (B)(D)

Day 5

Jerusalem - Old City

Drive to Mount of Olives for a panoramic view of the city. Visit the Church of All Nations, King David’s tomb and the room of the Last Supper on Mount Zion. Enter within the walls of the Old City and visit the Cardo, Temple Mount (entrance to the mosque is not included), Western Wall, Via Dolorosa, the Church of the Holy Sepulchre and the Oriental Bazaar. Day 6

Jerusalem - New City

Travel to Ein Karem to visit the Church of Visitation. Proceed to Yad Vashem, the Holocaust Museum and visit the Shrine of the Book, where the Dead Sea scrolls are housed. Proceed to Bethlehem (visit subject to the security conditions) to visit the Church of Nativity. (B)(D)

Day 7

Jerusalem - Dead Sea / Masada - Jerusalem

Visit Qumran, where the Dead Sea scrolls were found, and drive along the shores of the Dead Sea, the lowest place on earth, to Masada, the last stronghold of the Jews after the destruction of the second temple in 70 AD. Time and weather permitting, an opportunity will be provided to float on the Dead Sea. Return to Jerusalem for the night. (B)(D)

Day 8

Jerusalem - Tel Aviv

Transfer to Ben Gurion Airport for departure. (B)
