Day 1


On arrival you will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel. This afternoon take a tour of the city. Visit the Botanical Gardens, the Peninsular Genesis Complex that is home to a 2600-year-old rock and the Bull Temple with its monolithic bull statue.

Day 2


Travel to Bandipur National Park and en route visit the 15th century Srirangapatna Fort. (B)(L)(D)

Day 3


Enjoy a morning and afternoon jeep safari for wildlife viewing. The park is full of rocky hills and valleys fed by many rivers and numerous small streams. (B)(L)(D)

Day 4


After a morning safari, drive to Kabini. The resort is bordered on two sides by the Kabini River and is a unique resort built in traditional tribal village style with palm thatched roofs. Day 6


After a morning safari, depart to Mysore. (B)

Day 7


This morning visit the main sights of Mysore, including the Maharaja’s Palace, the Art Gallery and Chamundeshwari Temple. Also visit the Namdi Bull carved out of solid rock in 1659. This evening head out for a walk through the oldest market of Mysore, popularly known as Devraja market. (B)

Day 8


Drive to Chikmaglur and en route visit Sravanabelagola, a hill place of pilgrimage for the Jains. Continue on to Belur, a star-shaped temple with hand lathe-turned filigreed pillars and sculptures. Visit the temple in Halebeedu built in 1121. (B)

Day 9


Explore Chikmaglur and visit coffee plantations. (B)

Day 10


Travel to Hampi. En route visit Tungabhadra Dam and Vittala Temple, built in the mid-15th century. Dedicated to Vishnu, it is one of the most intricately carved and oldest temples. (B)

Day 11


Hampi is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Stunning in its architecture, though much is now in ruins, you can choose from four different walks that will bring you close to its history, forgotten glory, heritage and mystery. (B)

Day 12


Continue your road journey to Badami, once the royal capital of the Chalukya Empire and today famous for its magnificent rock-cut cave temples and red sandstone cliffs that resemble the Wild West. This afternoon enjoy a tour of the town. (B)

Day 13


Today visit the temples in Aihole and Pattadakal, which date back to the 5th century. (B)

Day 14


Transfer to Badami Airport for your departure flight. (B)
