Upon your arrival into Winnipeg, check into your airport hotel.
Depart on a morning flight to Churchill. Upon arrival, enjoy a city tour of Churchill and the surrounding areas including a stop at the Churchill Eskimo Museum, which contains one of Canada's finest collections of Inuit carvings and artefacts.
You will be transferred in the morning to the Tundra Buggy launching site, where we board our Tundra Buggy and set off to explore in the Churchill Wildlife Management Area (WMA). Our Tundra Buggy Driver will navigate throughout the WMA, in search of polar bears and other arctic wildlife, while our knowledgeable interpretive guide will offer insights to the lives of these incredible animals. A delicious lunch will be served right out on the tundra. After our first full day, we'll return to town, where you will have time to explore further. (B)(L)(D)
See day 3
Today will give you the chance to experience a more cultural side of the north. In the morning, we will visit a local dog musher for an exciting and informative dog sledding program. After lunch, we will visit the Parks Canada Interpretive Centre, to learn about the historical significance of Churchill.
Later, you will be transferred to the Churchill Airport for an evening flight back to Winnipeg, where you will check-in to the Four Points Sheraton Hotel at the Airport for an overnight stay. (B)(L)
