On arrival transfer to your hotel.
Visit Yuantong Temple, the Golden Temple and the Yunnan Ethnic Minorities Museum. After dinner board the overnight sleeper train to Dali. (B)(D)
Arrive early into Dali. Spend the day exploring the city. Visit one of the weekly markets, see the Three Pagodas at the Chongsheng Temple and then stroll through the old town of Dali. (B)
Take the train to Lijiang and stroll around the old town. Visit the Mu Palace which is based on the same style of architecture as the Forbidden City in Beijing. Head to the local market and see locals still dressed in traditional clothing selling teas, vegetables, fruits and even daily tools. (B)
Visit Jade Dragon Mountain, which stands majestically to the north of the city. On the way back to Lijiang, pass by Lashi Lake and take a horse ride along the historic Horse Tea Trail. Return to Lijiang and board the overnight sleeper train to Kunming. (B)
Arrive early morning and transfer to either the airport or hotel. (B)
