Upon arrival at Calama Airport you will be transferred to the Tierra Atacama Hotel & Spa.

Enjoy one of the many activities available such as a full-day excursion to the Altiplanic Lagoons, Aguas Calientes and Tuyajto including a visit to the area of Piedras (Red Rocks), with formations that seem to come from another world. You can also visit the Tatio Geisers, with their huge steam columns which reach heights of 12 metres, and there are opportunities to spot families of vicunas, foxes, vizcachas and Andean ostrich. Take a trip to the tiny village of Machuca, located to the north of San Pedro de Atacama, or take a dip in the natural pools of the Puritama Hot Springs, hidden at the bottom of a steep sided gorge and surrounded by vegetation. Or visit the Atacama Salt Flat, Chaxa Lagoon and the Flamingo Reserve, where you'll find three types of flamingo.

There are many more opportunities to explore the area, with volcano climbs, horse rides, stargazing, night excursions, and walking, hiking and biking. 

Day trips are scheduled and designed to allow our guests to discover the magic, culture and nature of the archipelago through a different angle each day, by alternating a variety of outings such as cultural trips, boating, horseback riding, biking, trekking and nature observation, providing our guests the opportunity to visit the unique sites that along our guests to comprehend and appreciate the desert landscape. Transfer to Calama airport for your onward flight to Punta Arenas. On arrival you will be met and transferred to Tierra Patagonia located approximately 3 hours by road. Tierra Patagonia Hotel & Spa sits on a bluff where the South American pampa meets Lake Sarmiento. The building is immersed in the landscape and emerges from the hillside. The award winning architecture complements the flow of the geology in this privileged location and showcases the magnificent views of the Torres del Paine National Park. (B)(L)(D)
